China Export and Credit Insurance’s underwriting hits $900 billion

State-run China Export & Credit Insurance Corp. has disclosed that premiums grew to almost $900 billion in 2022, Xinhua reported. Of the total, short-term export credit insurance grew 10.2% year-on-year to over $745 billion. The insurer also increased insurance support to stabilize industrial and supply chains. Underwriting for for small and medium-sized enterprises grew 15.7 over 2021 levels.
