BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Study charts 33% decline in cancer deaths since 1991

New research from the American Cancer Society found that rapid advances in treatment contributed to a 33% decline in the cancer death rate since 1991, saving an estimated 3.8 million people, reports Fierce Healthcare. The data was included in a study published Jan. 12 by the American Cancer Society that showed a slight decline of 1.5% in the cancer death rate from 2019 through 2020.
