Two insurers in Japan suffer major data breach

Zurich Insurance Co., the Japanese unit of Zurich Insurance Group Ltd., and Aflac Life Insurance Japan Ltd. have suffered a major data breach, with personal information of about 2 million customers stolen, Nippon reported citing Jiji Press. The data breach affected 1.32 million holders of three cancer insurance policies at Aflac and up to 757,463 automobile policyholders at Zurich Insurance.
