To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Nonlife sector’s premiums increase over 16%

Data from the General Insurance Council of India showed that nonlife insurers’ collective gross direct premiums increased 16% year-on-year to 1.87 trillion Indian rupees ($22.7 billion) in the nine months ended December 2022, The Financial Express reported. New India Assurance Co. Ltd. saw a 2.41% year-on-year increase in premiums.
