Bulgarian insurer to exit Russia and Belarus

Bulgaria-based insurer Euroins Insurance Group AD will exit Russia and Belarus by selling its 48.6% equity stake in a Russian business and its wholly-owned subsidiary in Belarus to focus only on key markets with a growth prospects, SeeNews reported. The company’s combined insurance business in Belarus and Russia accounted for less than 1% of its revenue for 2022.
