AssuredPartners merges Mountain West and West regions

AssuredPartners Inc. said Tuesday it will merge its Mountain West and West regions and named Dave Tacha to lead the combined business.
Mr. Tacha was previously president of the Mountain West region. He will continue to report to AssuredPartners President Randy Larsen, in the expanded role, the Orlando, Florida-based brokerage said in a statement.
Greg Van Ness, formerly president of the West region, was named president of leadership acceleration.
Mr. Van Ness will report to Ofa Stead, chief human resources officer, and will focus on the training and development of emerging leaders in the new role, AssuredPartners said.
Mr. Tacha joined AssuredPartners through the 2015 acquisition of Sisk & Co., where he was a vice president.
