Gallagher buys Texas agency

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Tuesday it has acquired Abilene, Texas-based agency CBS Insurance LLP.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1992, CBS Insurance provides property/casualty and health/benefits coverages and has about 20 employees.
Area President Peter Lauve, Steven Senter, area vice president, and staff will remain in their current location under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher’s South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
