UAE insurer to buy Aman's insurance portfolio

U.A.E.-based insurer Islamic Arab Insurance Co. has agreed to buy part of Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co., also known as Aman Insurance, Zawya reports. The deal, which is expected to be concluded in the first quarter of 2023, will take Islamic Arab Insurance's annual gross written contributions to 1 billion United Arab Emirates dirham ($272 million).
