U.S.-based automaker Tesla Inc. suspended production at its Shanghai plant on Dec. 24 due to rising COVID-19 infections among workers at the firm and its suppliers, Investing.com reports citing Reuters. The plant’s suspension of Model Y assembly would be part of a cut in planned production of about 30% in the month for the model at the factory.
