A federal judge during a hearing Dec. 20 challenged the government’s defense of an arbitration mechanism in the No Surprises Act, reports Healthcare Dive. At issue in the case is the instruction given to arbiters on how to pick the most appropriate offer. The Texas Medical Association is challenging the rule, arguing it unfairly benefits insurers.
