Chubb promotes four execs in North America financial lines division

Chubb Ltd. on Thursday promoted four executives in its North America financial lines division, effective immediately.
Jarrod Schlesinger, most recently executive vice president, public company management liability, was named chief operating officer, while Scott Williams was promoted to executive vice president, private/not-for-profit practice leader and chief underwriting officer; Jennifer Riley was promoted to executive vice president, head of digital strategy and operations; and Alissa Theberge was named head of learning and development.
All four report to Michael Mollica, who was recently appointed division president, North America financial lines.
In his expanded role, New York-based Mr. Schlesinger will develop the division’s operational strategies in addition to his current role leading Chubb’s North America financial lines management liability business, Chubb said in a statement.
Mr. Williams, previously chief underwriting officer, private/not-for-profit, adds responsibility for all aspects of the division’s private not-for-profit underwriting, including field distribution and product development. Based in New York, he also continues to lead Chubb’s financial lines private equity vertical.
Ms. Riley, based in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, will lead digital transformation with an initial focus on private not-for-profit, professional liability and cyber lines, and oversee the division’s overall digital strategy. She was most recently senior vice president, national segment and distribution leader, private not-for-profit financial lines.
Ms. Theberge, based in Simsbury, Connecticut, will oversee the development and execution of key learning programs across all levels of Chubb’s North America financial lines underwriting. She was most recently assistant manager, commercial insurance, in the underwriting service branch.
