Beazley to expand presence in property market

Patrick Hartigan, group head of treaty at U.K.-based Beazley PLC, said that the specialty insurer is poised to expand its presence in property market throughout 2023, Reinsurance News reports. Hartigan believes that this ongoing hard market environment will see rates increase by approximately 15% for direct business and by around 50% for reinsurance in 2023.
