India-based private equity firm Samara Capital Ltd. has entered into talks to acquire India's Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd., a deal valued between 8 billion Indian rupees ($97 million) and INR10 billion if the negotiations are successful, Verdict reports citing Livemint. The unit of Aditya Birla Capital Ltd. offers brokerage and advisory services to both companies and individuals, and reinsurance services.
