Marsh Captive Solutions announces executive changes

Marsh LLC said Friday that Lorraine Stack will take on the additional role of leader of Marsh Captive Solutions’ Ireland operations, effective Feb. 1, 2023.

She succeeds Brian McDonagh, who is retiring. Ms. Stack will also continue in her current position as Dublin-based international consulting and sales leader, and report to Ellen Charnley, president of Marsh Captive Solutions.

In the added role, which is subject to regulatory approval, Ms. Stack will lead a team of specialists managing single-parent captives and special-purpose vehicles domiciled in Dublin, Marsh said in a statement.

Stuart Herbert has been promoted to international captive consulting practice leader, reporting to Ms. Stack, effective Jan. 1.

He succeeds Stephen Hawkes, who is retiring.

Mr. Herbert is currently leader of Marsh Captive Solutions Asia Pacific and will relocate to the UK from Singapore, Marsh said.

Nisala Weerasooriya has been named leader of Marsh Captive Solutions Asia Pacific operations, succeeding Mr. Herbert.

He will report to William Thomas-Ferrand, leader, Marsh Captive Solutions, International and will relocate to Singapore from New York.

Mr. Weerasooriya currently serves as head of Marsh Captive Solutions’ New York operations.
