Berkshire Hathaway Specialty names Miller North America property head

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. on Tuesday named Cathy Miller head of North America property and made several other promotions within the division.
Ms. Miller, who joined BHSI in 2013 and was most recently senior vice president and head of property U.S. and Canada, succeeds Sanjay Godhwani, who was named president, North America, at BHSI in March.
In addition, the Boston-based insurer named Greg Freeman U.S. retail leader, general property. Previously he was head of retail general property, U.S. Eastern region. Scott Johnson succeeds him in the regional role.
Mark Lees was named global property underwriting officer. Previously he was head of retail general property, U.S. Western region. Manny Dewani succeeds him.
And Alison McVeigh was named head of retail general property, U.S. Northeast Region.
