Perils pegs insured loss estimates for October floods at $535 million

Swiss catastrophe data provider Perils AG has pegged its insured loss estimates for the severe flooding that affected parts of southeastern Australia in October, at $791 million Australian ($535 million), Artemis reported. The initial loss estimate covers flooding that primarily affected the states of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
