U.S.-based private equity firm KKR & Co. Inc. has reportedly agreed to acquire a majority stake in French insurance broker April Group from CVC Capital Partners for around €2.3 billion ($2.4 billion), Verdict reported citing Bloomberg News. Following the transaction, April Group intends to accelerate the development and digitalization of its niche property and casualty, borrowers, health and personal protection, international health insurance and wealth management businesses in France and internationally.
