A hacker has put up phone numbers of nearly 500 million users of U.S.-based messaging service WhatsApp Inc. for sale on the dark web, Live Mint reports citing Cybernews. The hacker claimed that the database contains mobile numbers of active WhatsApp users from 84 different countries including the U.S., the U.K., Russia, Egypt, Italy, Saudi Arabia and India.
