Liberty Mutual reportedly mulling sale of European operations for over $1 billion

U.S.-based insurer Liberty Mutual Holding Company Inc. is reportedly exploring the divestment of its operations in Spain, Portugal and Ireland – a transaction that could fetch the insurer more than €1 billion ($1 billion), The Bharat Express News reported citing Bloomberg. Liberty Mutual has appointed Bank of America Corp. to advice the company in this task.
