CDB Aviation sues 18 insurers over jets stranded in Russia

Ireland-based aircraft lessor CDB Aviation has sued 18 insurers in the Irish High Court over losses stemming from nine of its jets stuck in Russia due to the Ukraine war and sanctions, Reuters reported. CDB Aviation, owned by the China Development Bank, has sued insurers, including Lloyd's of London, Chubb Ltd. and Swiss Reinsurance Co., among others for its aircraft losses.
