Nonlife insurance premium revenue up 19% in Vietnam

Vietnam’s nonlife insurance segment’s premium revenue grew 19% year-on-year to nearly 50 trillion Vietnamese dong ($2 billion) in the first nine months of the year, Asia Insurance Review reported. According to the Vietnam Insurance Association, total nonlife gross insurance claims neared VND16 billion, mainly driven by hull and shipowner's liability insurance, motor vehicle and health insurance claims.
