French reinsurer Scor SE, an avid buyer of retrocessional reinsurance protection, is likely to tweak its retrocession program for 2023 to adjust to the market appetite and availability of capital, Artemis reported. It’s making the move after insurance-linked securities and retro markets saw significant losses from Hurricane Ian and other heavy catastrophe losses this year.
