BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. posted a net loss of more than $1.5 billion in the first nine months of the year – down from a profit of $317 million in the year-ago comparable period, The Royal Gazette reported. The high net losses were driven by unrealized losses on fixed maturities and short-term investments. PartnerRe saw about 4% year-on-year increase in large losses to $434 million, driven by Hurricane Ian, floods in South Africa and Australia, and the Ukraine-Russia war.
