McGriff hires two construction executives from Alliant

McGriff Insurance Services Inc., a subsidiary of Truist Insurance Holdings Inc., said Thursday former Alliant Insurance Services Inc. executive Danielle Ross has been named to the newly created role of head of construction – risk management in McGriff’s national construction – risk management practice.

Ms. Ross will be based in Dallas and focus on building out McGriff’s construction – risk management practice, a Truist statement said. She was most recently senior vice president, account executive for Alliant.

McGriff also Thursday named former Alliant executive Dana Moriarity as casualty leader for the national construction risk management practice. She will be based in Denver and focus on leading the casualty segment of the national construction – risk management practice. Ms. Moriarity was most recently a vice president with Alliant.

McGriff’s construction – risk management practice, a newly established segment of McGriff’s construction practice, will focus on large construction accounts, the statement said.

McGriff Insurance Services Inc. is a subsidiary of Truist Insurance Holdings Inc., the sixth-largest broker of U.S. business according to the most recent Business Insurance ranking, and a subsidiary of Truist Financial Corp., headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
