BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Premiums up by over 2% in Bahrain

Data from the Central Bank of Bahrain showed that local insurers’ aggregate gross written premium increased by more than 2% year-on-year to almost 147 million Bahraini dinar ($390 million) in the first half of the year, Middle East Insurance Review reported. General insurance business accounted for 84% of the gross premiums written in the reported period.
