Nigerian insurers are likely to face millions of dollars’ worth of claims for the destruction caused by the recent severe floods in the country that have affected many offices, farmlands and roads, Ripples Nigeria reported. Friday Okpara, the director of partnerships and coordination at Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, said that the floods had severely affected businesses in Anambra, Delta, Cross River, Rivers, and Bayelsa States.
