Accelerant names former Goldman Sachs executive as CFO

Accelerant Ltd., an Atlanta-based insurtech, said Thursday it has named a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. official as its chief financial officer.
Jay Green, who begins his new position on Nov. 1, will lead the company’s worldwide financial planning and analysis as well as its investor relations and capital markets, the company said in a statement.
He was formerly managing director and head of insurance structured finance with Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division.
The company said in September it had named Peter Horst as chief technology officer, a new position.
