Axa XL names construction leader

Axa XL said Tuesday it has promoted Michael McKinley to lead construction primary casualty insurance in North America.
Gary Kaplan, president of Axa XL’s construction insurance business, said in a statement that Mr. McKinley, who is Atlanta-based, developed its construction wrap up program capabilities from the ground up after joining the insurer in 2011.
In his new role, Mr. McKinley will help construction companies address their auto liability, general liability, workers compensation and wrap up insurance needs, the company said.
Mr. McKinely replaces Bryan Stevenson, who took a position at CNA Financial Corp., according to an Axa XL spokeswoman.
