South Korean insurers offer broader cyber cover

Several nonlife insurers in South Korea are now offering comprehensive cyber insurance products that offer wider coverage, including business interruption losses, costs of cyber incident investigations and data recovery, Asia Insurance Review reported. The new policies cover the gap in South Korea’s cyber insurance market left by more traditional cyber policies that only cover third-party liability.
