Mosaic hires environmental insurance team from Scor

Bermuda-based insurer Mosaic Insurance Holdings Ltd. on Thursday launched an environmental liability division headed by a team of former Scor SE underwriters.
The London-based division will offer up to $25 million in capacity, including lead environmental liability coverage.
The unit is headed by Jim Finnamore as senior vice president, global head of environmental liability. Most recently, he was head of environmental impairment liability for Scor.
Former Scor environmental liability underwriters David Barr and William Campbell are also joining Mosaic. Mr. Barr will be a senior vice president and senior underwriter and Mr. Campbell will be a vice president and underwriter.
