London insurers post over 7% premium income growth

According to the International Underwriting Association of London, insurers operating in London enjoyed an aggregate premium income of more than 7% year-on-year in 2021, Reinsurance News reported. The premium growth, to approximately £30 billion ($33.5 billion), was mainly driven inflation-driven claims costs and resulting rate hikes.
