Specialty MGA hires from Munich Re, Chubb

Falcon Risk Holdings LLC, a managing general agent specializing in management and cyber liability that formed last year, said Monday it has hired several executives from rivals.
Bryan Harmsen joined the Summit, New Jersey-based MGA from Munich Reinsurance Co. as chief operating officer. He was head of data operations and process improvement at Munich Re.
In addition, Danielle Cirillo joined from Chubb Ltd. as head of private company management liability. She was a regional leader for private company and nonprofit management liability at Chubb, a Falcon statement said.
Falcon was launched by Dallas-based Griffin Highline Capital LLC and Hanover, Germany-based HDI Global Specialty SE in June 2021. It is headed by Craig Landi, a former Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. executive.
Earlier this year, Falcon also hired Andrew Menger, head of commercial management liability, from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Inc., and Tim Barry, head of financial institutions, from Everest Insurance, a unit of Everest Re Group Ltd., the statement said.
