Tough reinsurance renewals expected

A survey found that risk managers, brokers and underwriters in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are expecting another tough reinsurance renewal season, especially for the property and cyber risk lines, Commercial Risk reported. The survey by Commercial Risk and Liberty Specialty Markets found that respondents expect general liability renewals to be harder or flat overall; however, most respondents expect directors and officers liability rates to be flat, after a period of difficult D&O renewals, particularly in Germany.
