U.S.-based S&P Global Ratings Inc. predicts 8% growth in property and casualty insurance premium in New Zealand this year, Asia Insurance Review reported. The solid growth is expected to help offset the pressure from high natural disaster losses and claims inflation. S&P also expects the insurance market to retain its strong operating performance over the next two to three years.
