Aura adds property/casualty coverages for cannabis industry

Aura Risk Management & Insurance Services said Tuesday it has launched property/casualty coverages for the cannabis industry.
The San Clemente, California-based managing general agency said the Indisure Cannabis Program provides $10 million in property insurance that can cover packaging equipment, lab equipment, surveillance cameras, nutrient delivery systems and other property.
The program also provides $1 million in general liability limits with a $2 million aggregate and the same amount of coverage for product liability risks. The product coverage includes limits of $1 million for product withdrawals.
