Ryan Specialty names first chief risk officer

Waleed K. Husain has joined Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc. as its first chief risk officer, the specialty intermediary said Tuesday.
Mr. Husain, who is based in Chicago, most recently served as senior vice president of risk management at Wintrust Financial. Prior to that role, he was managing director and chief risk officer at JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer Community Bank.
He previously served in the supervision and regulation department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
