Reinsurance broker partners with JBA to offer flood risk insights

Lebanese reinsurance broker Chedid Re has signed a five-year partnership with U.K.-based catastrophe modeling firm JBA Risk Management Ltd. to offer flood risk insights to its customers, Kapital Afrik reported. As part of the deal, Chedid Re will utilize JBA’s global flood model to provide flood risk analytics and catastrophe modeling services to its customers in Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
