To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

Falcon Risk hires from AIG, Optio

Falcon Risk Holdings LLC said Monday it has hired a former American International Group Inc. official as head of management liability.

The Summit, New Jersey-based MGA said David Lynders joins it from AIG, where he held senior roles including head of financial institutions, financial lines North America.

Falcon said also it has named as head of cyber & technology errors & omissions John Merchant, who is former managing director – cyber & technology practice, North America, for Optio Insurance Services, a unit of London-based Optio Group Ltd.

In addition, Falcon appointed as head of claims Martin Schnabel, formerly chief claims officer at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.’s excess and surplus lines unit.

Falcon Risk, which was formed last year, began underwriting risk in January, and provides a full suite of financial, professional and cyber insurance products and services, it said in its statement.
