BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

And just like that, Peloton gets a bad rap

Peloton

The makers of the Peloton are fighting back after the “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That” used its popular exercise bike a murder weapon, killing the infamous yet beloved Mr. Big, who had a heart condition and had taking up exercising during the pandemic, and hurting the brand’s reputation.

As reported in Vanity Fair, in spite of Peloton’s prominent placement, the company claims it did not know the full context of its product’s story line.

“HBO procured the Peloton Bike on their own,” the company’s senior communications leader told Buzzfeed. “Peloton was aware that a Bike would be used in the episode” yet “due to confidentiality reasons, HBO did not disclose the larger context surrounding the scene to Peloton in advance.”

The spokesperson also responded by sending a statement from a member of its health advisory council, who attributed the fictional character’s death to causes other than Peloton.

“I'm sure SATC fans, like me, are saddened by the news that Mr. Big dies of a heart attack,” she wrote. “Mr. Big lived what many would call an extravagant lifestyle — including cocktails, cigars, and big steaks — and was at serious risk as he had a previous cardiac event in Season 6. These lifestyle choices and perhaps even his family history, which often is a significant factor, were the likely cause of his death. Riding his Peloton Bike may have even helped delay his cardiac event.”
