Uniqa’s net profit climbs 42%

Austria-based Uniqa Insurance Group AG’s net profit increased almost 42% year-on-year to €236 million ($272.5 million) in the first nine months of the year, driven by strong insurance business and positive effects of integrating with Axa SA’s Central and Eastern Europe units, Xprimm reported citing osiguranje.hr. Uniqa’s gross written premium increased 18% to €4.8 billion.
