German insurer Talanx AG’s net income jumped 39% year-on-year to €723 million ($835.6 million) in the first nine months of the year despite huge losses from natural disasters such as the summer floods in Europe, Xprimm reported citing insurancedaily.gr. Gross written premium increased 10% to more than €35 billion.
