Liberty Specialty Markets announces executive changes

Liberty Specialty Markets Bermuda, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., has appointed Nicholas Garside to the newly created role of chief underwriting officer, Liberty Mutual Insurance said Monday in a statement.
Mr. Garside previously led LSM Bermuda’s property unit. He will report to LSM Bermuda President Steve Horton.
The company also promoted the following to work with Mr. Garside: Joanna Din, to LSM Bermuda head of specialty risk; Andrew Osborne, to LSM Bermuda head of Bermuda health care; and Daniel Rance, to LSM Bermuda head of financial lines.
Previously, Ms. Din was assistant vice president, financial lines underwriter; Mr. Osborne was senior underwriter, health care; and Mr. Rance was assistant vice president, financial lines underwriter.
