Insurtech gets additional funding, adds cyber assessment tool

Moody’s Corp. and Team8, a Tel Aviv-based technology venture group, said Wednesday they have completed a $25 million investment in VisibleRisk, their New York-based joint venture.
The companies said also that VisibleRisk, which was established in 2019, has introduced Cyber Rating, a product designed to enable companies to benchmark their cyber risk against their peers and manage the impact of cyber threats.
The companies said in a statement that Cyber Rating assesses a set of internal and external factors that affect a company’s security and quantifies risks in economic terms.
