BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Ryan Specialty Group LLC has named Timothy W. Turner, who is chairman and CEO of Ryan Turner Specialty, as president of the Ryan Specialty Group, effective Monday, among other changes.
Mr. Turner will retain his current responsibilities, RSG said in its statement Thursday.
In addition, RSG named Jeremiah R. Bickham, who had been its global treasurer and head of corporate development, chief financial officer, effective Monday.
Diane M. Aigotti, RSG’s chief financial officer and managing director, plans to retire, but will continue to service as an adviser to CEO Patrick G. Ryan until June 30.
Other changes are: Michael T. VanAcker, who has been chief operating officer at RT Specialty, will become chief operating officer of Ryan Specialty Group; Ryan Specialty Group controller Janice M. Hamilton will become its chief accounting officer; Mark C. Melander, who was chief administrative officer of All Risks Ltd., which RSG acquired in September, will become chief administrative officer, business services of Ryan Specialty Group; and Noah S. Angeletti, RSG’s vice president of treasury and corporate development for Ryan Specialty Group, will become its treasurer.
With the exception of Mr. Melander, who is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, everyone is based in Chicago.
Chicago-based Ryan Specialty Group LLC on Monday said it will open an office in Barcelona and has hired four former AmTrust Group executives as it looks to expand its transactional risk business in Europe.
