BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Rhonda Tobin

Hartford, Connecticut-based law firm Robinson & Cole LLP named insurer defense attorney Rhonda Tobin as managing partner, effective March 1.

Ms. Tobin succeeds Stephen Goldman, who will continue in the firm’s leadership but spend more time on his trial practice, a Robinson & Cole statement said.

The appointment marks the first time that the 175-year-old law firm has been led by a woman.

Ms. Tobin has spent her more than 30-year career at Robinson & Cole, where she specializes in litigation, arbitration and mediation of complex insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes, including coverage litigation surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and disputes over #MeToo liabilities.

Ms. Tobin was named one of the 2020 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
