AssuredPartners snags CFO from Willis Towers Watson

AssuredPartners Inc. said Tuesday it named Andrew Krasner, formerly global treasurer and head of mergers and acquisitions for Willis Towers Watson PLC, as its chief financial officer.
Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners said Mr. Krasner will be responsible for driving the broker’s financial strategy and performance while working closely with AssuredPartners CEO Tom Riley and its leadership team.
Information on Mr. Krasner’s predecessor at AssuredPartners was not immediately available.
The statement said in his previous role at Willis Towers Watson, Mr. Krasner was responsible for all aspects of its treasury function as well as the company’s global M&A and strategic investment activity.
AssuredPartners is the 12th-largest broker of U.S. business, with about $1.4 billion in annual brokerage revenue, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
It announced its acquisition of Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based Murray Insurance Associates Inc. last month.
