Sedgwick appoints president of managed care operations

Sedgwick Claims Management Services on Thursday named Andrea Buhl president of managed care operations.
Ms. Buhl, who was named a 2018 Business Insurance Woman to Watch, has been senior vice president of medical programs for the third-party administrator since 2014. She is replacing Don Sloan, who will be transitioning to a senior advisory role in anticipation of retiring in the coming months, a Sedgwick spokeswoman said.
Ms. Buhl will be based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
