BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

It appears an attorney in Buffalo, New York, has been in talks with more wedding venues than a hopeful bride.

Claiming to have been on Zoom calls with some 80 wedding venues, R. Anthony Rupp, a founding partner of Rupp Baase Pfalzgraf Cunningham LLC, said he’s working with plaintiffs, shopping around a possible class action against several New York state offices and Gov. Andrew Cuomo over COVID-19 restrictions, The Buffalo Law Journal reported Friday.

“I’ve talked to scores of venues. There are hundreds that have reached out to me,” he told a reporter of his clients’ desire to halt the mandates that place a limit on gatherings of more than 50 people. According to the article, the venues have said they can safely hold larger weddings with precautions in place.

“It’s been fun,” Mr. Rupp told a reporter. “I’ve enjoyed working on it, and I really feel very passionately about getting this ban lifted. I cannot understand (why it is still enforced).”
