COVID-19 costs hospitality sector $12 billion

A report said that the Indian hospitality sector lost 898 billion Indian rupees ($12 billion) during the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CNBC TV18 reported. The sector's revenue totaled nearly INR 1.6 trillion last year. The report was published by U.S.-based consulting firm HVS Global Hospitality Services and India-based Anarock Property Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
