BB&T Insurance Holdings rebranded as Truist

BB&T Insurance Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of Truist Bank, said Monday that it is now doing business as Truist Insurance Holdings Inc.
The new moniker reflects the 2019 merger of parent company BB&T Corp. and SunTrust Banks Inc. to form Truist Financial Corp.
Truist Insurance Holdings, headquartered at the Truist Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, employs more than 7,500 people in more than 250 locations nationwide.
The brand transition includes a new website, logo, and updated design and branding elements.
The company also recently rebranded McGriff Insurance Services Inc. and McGriff, Seibels & Williams Inc., the retail insurance subsidiaries of BB&T Insurance Holdings, into just McGriff.
In addition to the Truist Insurance Holdings rebranding, BB&T Life Insurance Services is being rebranded as Truist Life Insurance Services, a division of Crump Life Insurance Services Inc.
Truist Insurance Holdings ranked fifth in the most recent Business Insurance rankings of the top 100 U.S brokers by revenue generated by U.S-based clients.
